Hi, my name is Agnieszka. I currently live in Melbourne, Australia with my friends Helen and Sean. For fun and income, I build web sites and e-commerce stores. My favorite font right now is Helvatica. I prefer red wine to white, dark chocolate to milk, fruits to vegetables, internet to tv and summer to winter.
Backwards schedule of events of my life.
2009: Happening right now. January Arrived back in Melbourne Australia from Thailand, searched for days on the internet looking for an appartment when all I had to do is go to the pub and meet friends and moved in with Helen one block from the beach. Love the new place. Slept on a blow up mattress for a few weeks until I got my bed sent down from Brisbane.
2008: Quit my job. Went to Jamaica where I did a hilarious impulsive, off the top of my head drunken speech at my best childhood friend’s wedding. Drank every day and night for a while week. Went home to a cold winter in Ottawa Canada then Mexico to drink some $0.80 coronas at the beach with Clamato juice, sea salt and lime. Stopped off in my old home of Vancouver then Moved to Brisbane. Sucked Sucked Sucked Sucked!! Moved to Sydney. Again the sucking continues here.. The only good part about Sydney are that my friends Phil and Svanthe live there and they are the best and without them I would of probably went mental. Flew to Thailand in October and loved evey single moment of each day. Went there to get away from it all and came back with a best friend and a great new perspective on life and discovered my spiritual side as well as cleansed, detoxified and felt like a whole new happy person.
2007: “Hey Lee, what you doing?” “Oh i’m in Italy” “Oh. You wanna meet up in Thailand for xmas and New Years?” “ok”.
The rest of the year I worked hard and played hard. Attended every single outdoor music festival event in Melbourne and Byron Bay. Got into breakdancing but never felt good enough to call myself a bgirl. Vanessa won a trip to New York and for somehow I was the lucky friend who she picked to take with to go see Justin Timberlake and stay in an amazing hotel in time square with 50 cent playing on the MTV studio roof which we could see across the street from our window. I am still hoping to win a trip to somewhere so I can return the favor and take her. Had the time of my life on a trip to Brazil then snowboarding in Whistler with one of my best friends Sara and Luci and met Sara’s fiance Curtis. (Curtis was not happy with me because they have been driving all over Vancouver looking for us meanwhile Luci and I are shopping! But I got him a chocolat bar from the gas station and he forgave me) Hung out in Toronto with my friends Gavin and Mia and Helen. Then off to my old home London UK for a couple days where I was drunk the whole time catching up with old friends.
2006: Lived in the best flat with my best friend and flatmate Donnie. He thought me about music and life and will always be a great inspiration to me. Went to Tasmania with my friend Laura and she doesn’t know it but she changed my life and the way I eat. She came back from a 1 year trip to asia a vegan after being a delux gourmet french chef for a few years and really opened my eyes to taking care of my body and soul.
2005: Moved back to Australia. Got a job in IT where I will work like a dog for 3 years. This will be the longest job I ever had since every job I ever had were only contracts which didn’t last more then 3-4 months. Reunited with many missed friends from London. Lived with my boss for 3 weeks then moved in with my outstanding, high energy, active and fun friend Vanessa. Then moved in with Donnie, mainly because he had a hot jacuzzi spa, pool and sauna and it was cheaper rent. Did a mini trip to New Zealand.
2004: Lived, worked and did a lot of snowboarding in Vancouver/Whistler. Then left everything IT behind and worked on expensive luxury Yachts in Florida, USA and cruised around.
2003: Traveled aimlessly around Australia and having the time of my life. My friend Jag came too. This is when I discovered she was one in a million. Moved in with my best warmhearted hilarious cleaver friend Sam and shared a bed with her for a few month. We lived it up in Melbourne and shared some more magic moments. She showed me what its like to have fun in a city even when you are broke. I don’t think I ever laughed so much in my life.
2002: Ran with the Bulls in Spain. Camped around and slept on various beaches in Portugal. Went crazy and partied in the Greek Islands. Didn’t sleep at all in Ibiza. Lived on a boat in Turkey. Lost Luci’s brother in Prague. Became a disgrace to society at October beerfest in Germany. Snowboarded the Alps in France, Austria and Switzerland. Jumped off a cliff with a parachute in Austria. Had a culture shock in Morocco. Made the best friends in the world in London.
2001: Backpacking around Europe and living in London, UK. Traveled around Europe. Fell in love with the world.
2000: I am in London UK. My life begins. I am liberated and free. I am self determined to conquer the world. With $400 in my pocket and a dream to see the world. I let go of everything I know and embark on a journey that boosts my confidence, my independence, my creativity, my strength and my connection with people. I take charge of my life and eagerly explore a new direction. I gather all the guts I have and just do something I have until now only been dreaming of.
