How frequently have we found ourselves getting into petty arguments? Things were good one moment and everything just went haywire the next. And you just haven’t a clue! Well, the old Chinese art of feng shui might just have the answer. According to this thousand year old science, our lives are in tune with our environment. This may simply sound fine but then it goes one step ahead in providing resolutions and answers.
Going back to our earlier query. Knowingly or unknowingly, we do feng shui our house. Other than beautifying our homes, the decorations that we do such as placing pots of live plants and lights have their impact, feng shui wise.
Why is this so? Once more, according to feng shui theory, all things are energy and these forces are essentially organized into eight types. This is rather obvious when we feel heat and ice. It goes a step further in theorizing that these eight force outlines interact with each other and pertinently influence our lives!
What has all these got to do with the quality of our relationship? It does. For example, too much lights in our bedroom may be one. The brightness and heat from the lights would descend as heat or more specifically the characteristic of fire. You may say that this would ‘fire’ up our passion but it may furthermore fire up our anger too. The feng shui specialist, obviously, may take this into consideration but what he would be looking for would actually be the influence of such lights on the dormant energy that was there when the property was occupied. Ignoring the difficulties, we do really need to be wary with how we place our design our lighting, place the aquarium and not forgetting the furniture. It is all a matter of arrangement.
These all seem kind of imposing, don’t they? The rule is that too much of anything to the time of being a nuisance is not suggested.
