How To Improve Attention and Concentration

Do you sometimes find your mind wandering even when you are interested and really want to retain what you are reading or hearing? Have you tried to improve attention without much success? At the University of North Carolina they studied the minds of 126 students to see what percentage of the time their minds wandered off the subject at hand.
